The base variant of the next Xiaomi 13 flagship series, which is anticipated to launch in November or December, now has even more precise display specifications. Next details have emerged regarding the display technology and size of the new series' regular edition.
The new Xiaomi flagship series will be unveiled around 4 months following the Xiaomi 12S series. The new versions will run on Qualcomm's top chipset for 2023, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Additionally, the new flagship model will enable 100W rapid charging and have the Xiaomi Surge PMIC.
The screen size and technology of the Xiaomi 13 Standard edition have been revealed by Digital Chat Station, which is well known for consistently releasing information about new products from Xiaomi and other businesses. Xiaomi's latest flagship phone has a 6.36-inch 2.5D flexible AMOLED display and supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Xiaomi 12's front camera setup is nearly identical. The screen's edges are also quite tiny.
Unlike the flagship versions introduced following the Mi 6, the Xiaomi 13 series will have the option of a BYD-made ceramic back cover. With the exception of the MIX models, Xiaomi has not given the ceramic back option in a long time. However, this has changed with the Xiaomi 13.
